In the summer of 2011, a group of young Worcester artists launched a free summer arts camp that effected the lives of almost 40 children in the Main South area of Worcester, MA. Dance, Drama, Music and Visual Art were offered to the community at no cost. In an attempt to further their dream of seeing every child in Worcester experience the arts, these same young artists are organizing another camp for August of 2012!
The "Main IDEA" name: While we want to provide a space of free expression, we also desire to cultivate positive values and equip the children with tools necesary to build artistic structure in their own lives.

Main I.D.E.A. is a place for children to experience various art forms and express themselves in a safe, creative environment.
